Parkwood – Synonymous with Care.

At Parkwood Care a children’s home is exactly that. A Home. It quickly becomes a place where young people can grow, develop and flourish in an environment that respects their individuality whilst also guiding them appropriately into adulthood.

Every human being is different, and at Parkwood we create a unique and bespoke offer for all our young people. From referral to assessment through to placement our therapeutic approach is underpinned by trauma and attachment aware policies and our staff are trained to the highest level. We care for and support our young people every step of the way.

As highly trained practitioners, our staff can quickly form meaningful relationships which support the young people to develop trust. A host of strategies enables us to work with a range of needs and provide exceptional care for those who we work with. Our staff aren’t just ‘professional parents’, they genuinely care about vastly improving the life chances of those in their care. A genuine desire to work with young people ensures that the whole Parkwood team are highly motivated, professional, human and above all; caring.
