At Parkwood Care, we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities that support us. We believe in making a positive impact not just within our care homes but also in the wider community. Here’s how we’re making a difference:

Community Engagement and Sponsorship

We take pride in being an active part of our local communities. Our initiatives include:

  • Sponsoring Youth Teams: We are proud sponsors of several local youth sports teams. By providing financial support and resources, we help young athletes pursue their passions and develop essential life skills through sports.
  • Industry Events: We regularly participate in and organize industry events, fostering a spirit of collaboration and innovation within the care sector. From conferences to workshops, we are always looking for ways to contribute to and engage with our professional community.
  • Collaboration: Our staff are encouraged to volunteer their time and expertise to local causes, organisations and sharing best practice with colleagues across the sector. We believe in leading by example and showing our commitment to community service.

Introducing the ‘Parkwood Foundation’

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Parkwood Foundation, a new initiative dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of young people, especially those who have been part of the Parkwood Care family. The Parkwood Foundation will offer:

  • Educational Grants: Young people can apply for grants to further their education, whether they are currently in our care or have moved on to new chapters in their lives. These grants are designed to help cover the costs of tuition, books, and other educational expenses.
  • Ongoing Support: Our commitment to young people extends beyond their time with us. We believe in providing continuous support to help them achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.
  • Mentorship Programs: In addition to financial support, the Parkwood Foundation will offer mentorship programs, connecting young people with professionals and role models who can provide guidance and inspiration.

By establishing the Parkwood Foundation, we aim to create lasting opportunities for young people, empowering them to pursue their educational and career goals with confidence.
